Our trauma informed approach to supporting pupils

Meadows school is passionate about improving the learning, mental health and quality of life for all of our pupils.   We believe that our school should be a mentally healthy school with well qualified staff.   This commitment is demonstrated from the whole of the education team through our weekly training sessions with our therapy department as well as our wellbeing curriculum and our trauma informed approach to the development of relationships and management of behaviour through therapeutic approaches and strategies, such as the PACE approach to emotional and behavioural regulation.
